How do you think I feel Gem? I'm not only on dial up, I'm also on the oldest working computer in the world... well, I'm exaggerating, but you get the idea.

Exploit your nearest library. I had to go to mine last month because of compilcations. There's a half hour limit to comp. use, but only if there are people waiting to use the computers. I was there for a good hour before the high school across the street got out and the kids swarmed on the library. I thought they might have access at school. There's only one high school in the city where I live and it's got the resources. I can't believe the library has more PCs than the school.

I used to have a local library just a few minutes walk away from my house. Now I just moved to the country (just outside the city) so in order to be connected to the rest of the world, I need to have my house hard-wired.
*sniffs*
I miss city life.
